Not much to say...

6 weeks to go. Well, 5 weeks and 6 days if you want to be precise. Not that I am counting. Emily will be making her arrival on May 2nd, unless she decides to take matters into her own hands and tries to come earlier. That would be strange! It happens to also be my Great Grandmother's birthday. I have fond memories of her and by all accounts she was an amazing woman. I am excited my daughter will share a birthday with her. Shortly before Emily makes her arrival my Hannah will turn 3. I can not believe how time has flown. In some ways it seems like just yesterday that she was a baby and at others, it seems she has always been such a little woman. She continues to astound me with her verbal skills and general "smarts". Yes, I brag, but she is my kid so I get to. Gracie continues to do well in school. She had student lead conferences this week and I loved getting to see her demonstrate all her skills as opposed to just hearing about them. She has grown in leaps and bounds since the beginning of the year and I am so proud of her. There is not much going on here on the home-front. We are working on many house projects trying to get everything ready for Emily and the things we figure will get set aside once she gets here. It is fun being able to make changes to my home, knowing that it is all mine! Anyway, as i said, there is little to report but sometimes I find the everyday is an important as the big stuff.
