Hannah has started dolling out real smiles over the last couple of days. It is so delightful to see her look at you and give a big grin. It does not matter what my mood is, when she smiles at me, I am instantly happy. I love to be there for all the little developments my girls go through. Smiles, which so often light a child's face as they are older, are so sweet and precious when they first begin to appear. Hannah's little grins are no exception.
I can not believe Hannah is already a month old. It seems like just days ago that we brought her home. Last night was her first night in her own room (well, her and Gracie's room). She did pretty well. Grace said Hannah did not wake her up so I think it was a successful first night.
Today we had some wonderful visitors. My Grandpa Gust and Grandma Donna came to our house for the afternoon. It was the first time I have seen them since our wedding and it was so exciting. Hannah refused to open her eyes for more than a few moments and Grace was very shy but it was still a wonderful visit. I hope to go visit them this summer so my girls can get to know and I too, can become reaquainted with them.
On a sad note, we had to say goodbye to the Ipson's today. They are moving back to Utah. Dallin was Gracie's fist real friend. He is one of the few children that Grace played well with and I think she will miss him when she realizes this goodbye was not just until next Sunday. We wish them the best of luck in the next phase of their life and their happiness will be in our prayers.

We will miss you too...I give it two weeks before Dallin realizes that this isn't another trip to see the family and that we're not going back and starts crying for his friends...I'm already crying for mine....
