Hannah had her two week well check on Wednesday. She has gained back all the weight she lost in the hospital and then some. She is now exactly 9 lbs. Her height has not changed though, so she is just filling out. The Pediatrician said she looked great. We are having trouble nursing so the pediatrician tried to help us out. She said Hannah is one of the most difficult babies she has ever seen. Lucky me. I am really hoping it starts to get easier soon. I had a minor breakdown the other night (Zach would probably say it was not so minor) where I first insisted that I had to be able to do this and then cried that I could not do it any more. Anyway, that has been our biggest hurdle. Hannah is otherwise a very easy baby. She has only been getting up once or twice at night the past two nights which has been great.
Grace is still doing really well as a big sister. She seems to be enjoying it. She got to go to gymnastics on Wednesday while I was at the doctor with Hannah. Zach said she did so well sharing and playing with the other kids. It makes me so proud and happy to hear that she does so well even when I am not around.
This weekend my grandparents are visiting from California. My Mom will be coming down on Sunday and we will have 3 generations of moms all together for Mother's Day. We got to do this when I had my first mother's day as well and it was really wonderful. I am looking forward to seeing my grandparents and sharing that special day with both my Mom and Grandma.
